Dear family
I am a 29 year old lady from Namibia. Since December 2022, I stayed with my big sister and her 3 children aged 4, 8 and 16. I helped take care of the kids by cooking dinner, preparing the younger one's lunch box, making breakfast and dropping the younger one at school before I go to work. I had a very good time taking care of them and they also enjoyed living with me although it was only for 5 months. Additionally, I have worked in a daycare as a principal and caretaker for kids from 3months to 6 years, and I was responsible for aftercare kids aged 7-14 years. I worked well with these children and developed a good connection with them and their parents. The main things i have learnt from this job were how I am happy to be on this website hoping to get an opportunity to o feed, change and clean up children from age 3 months to 6 years, how to handle them when they are not feeling well, how to play with them and let them get used to a routine. I also enjoyed teaching them some songs and doing arts and crafts with those from age 1 year to 6 years. For the aftercare children, i helped with their homeworks and also gave some extra lessons in different subjects. With all this experience under my belt, I believe I can be a good Au Pair for your family.
