The Ambassador role is an outbound sales position that is an extension of GreatAuPair's excellent sales and marketing process. This is a commission-based, work-from-home, independent contractor position. Ambassadors set their own hours to identify and engage prospective new host family customers and are therefore an important outward facing representation of GreatAuPair. The Ambassador is responsible for independently sourcing new leads by networking with families, schools and businesses through direct contact and social media. As an Ambassador, you will host and engage in family and child-centric events, and initiate independent marketing activities to expand your reach. A successful Ambassador will understand the customers' needs and be able to help host families quickly decide if the au pair program is a good fit. This will require you to have a thorough understanding of GreatAuPair's Au Pair Program, host family participation requirements, and Department of State compliance requirements. You will pass interested customers to GreatAuPair's professional Program Advisors who will further educate your customers about the Au Pair Program and assist them through the au pair matching process.

If you're a proven outside sales champion with excellent customer service skills who appreciates the art of building relationships by listening and relating to customers, then this role may be for you. As an Ambassador, you must be able to quickly identify sales opportunities and seek out potential customers; you are a natural with social media and you know how to engage your audience. You must be professional in your manner, articulate and authoritative in your speech. You must be independently motivated and able to relate to a diverse group of prospective customers. Your success will stem from your ability to match the benefits of the au pair program with parents' needs for childcare and their interest in cultural exchange.

GreatAuPair is a full-service au pair agency that provides affordable live-in childcare to American families through carefully screened international au pairs. The US Department of State has designated GreatAuPair as a sponsor of the Au Pair Program, which means we’re able to bring au pairs into the US on a J-1 visa after thorough screening and evaluation.

We are seeking open-minded GreatAuPair Representatives with an appreciation for cultural exchange and a passion for excellence. Ideal candidates will be excellent communicators in English and the local languages spoken in their region. Candidates must be able to recognize and assess personal traits, qualities and key factors as needed to evaluate au pairs for quality childcare.

As a GreatAuPair Representative, you will be working closely with applicant au pairs to conduct an in-person interview in order to assess their maturity, experience and suitability to work as an au pair in the USA. You will also evaluate their English language skills, verify their references and other information as needed. Once the au pair is accepted into the program, you will maintain regular contact to assist her in preparing for her departure and obtaining her J-1 visa.

This is the perfect position for candidates who have previous experience working as an au pair in the USA, people with extensive cultural exchange experience, or for Americans living abroad. GreatAuPair offers generous compensation for each au pair you support who departs to the United States.

We will provide you with the necessary training and guidelines to ensure your success. The Role

The Regional Manager role is an essential part of GreatAuPair’s excellent customer service. The Regional Manager is responsible for the supervision, ongoing training and development of Local Childcare Coordinators who directly support au pairs and host families in their communities to enjoy a yearlong cultural exchange and childcare program.

The Regional Manager reports to the Senior Regional Manager and is responsible for meeting regional goals for host family recruitment, monthly placements and area expansion, ensuring regional compliance with the Department of State J1 visitor program regulations, timely resolution of escalated host family/au pair/staff issues, hiring strategies, contract management, budgets, regional payroll, and cultural event planning.

The successful candidate could be characterized as a quick learner with superior communication skills and a commitment to quality customer service that is second to none. You are a diplomatic and solution-oriented problem solver who is capable of helping program participants make the most of their experiences. You have superior organization and time management skills that help you to juggle competing priorities and customer needs. Your entrepreneurial spirit and ability to think outside of the box will allow you to bring forward new ideas to enhance your region and the organization as a whole. You take pride and ownership over your region and are motivated to reach annual performance targets in sales and customer service. Adherence to State Department regulations remains your top priority as you ensure that the area you supervise is 100% compliant. You are cost conscious and look for ways to be fiscally responsible while ensuring excellent customer service. You enjoy travel and the opportunity to connect in person with your team. You have a minimum of 5 years of management experience, a solid knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, database systems, Internet and social media tools.
