GreatAuPair is looking for Local Childcare Coordinators to develop new host families while supporting the host families and au pairs in your area. This is a part-time independent contractor position that offers unlimited growth through independent sales opportunities. On average, our Local Childcare Coordinators work 15 hours per month. However, through independent sales, you determine your growth potential where you could work up to 30 hours per week.

We are seeking open-minded GreatAuPair International Representatives with an appreciation for cultural exchange and a passion for excellence. Ideal candidates will be excellent communicators in English and the local languages spoken in their region. Candidates must be skilled at social media outreach and be able to recognize and assess personal traits, qualities, and key factors as needed to evaluate au pairs for quality childcare and cultural exchange.

As a GreatAuPair Representative, you will have the opportunity to build your own business with our support. You will be working closely with applicant au pairs to conduct an in-person interview to assess their maturity, experience, and suitability to work as an au pair in the USA. You will also evaluate their English language skills, and verify their references and other information as needed. Once the au pair is accepted into the program, you will maintain regular contact to assist their in preparing for their departure and obtaining their J-1 visa.

This is the perfect position for those who have previous experience working as an au pair in the USA, people with extensive cultural exchange experience, or for Americans living abroad. GreatAuPair offers generous compensation for each au pair you support.

We will provide you with the necessary training and guidelines to ensure your ongoing growth and success. The Role
The Regional Manager role is an essential part of GreatAuPair’s excellent customer service. The Regional Manager is responsible for the supervision, ongoing training and development of Local Childcare Coordinators who directly support au pairs and host families in their communities to enjoy a yearlong cultural exchange and childcare program.

The Regional Manager reports to the Vice President and is responsible for meeting regional goals for host family recruitment, monthly placements and area expansion, ensuring regional compliance with the Department of State J1 visitor program regulations, timely resolution of escalated host family/au pair/staff issues, hiring strategies, contract management, budgets, regional payroll, and cultural event planning.

The successful candidate could be characterized as a quick learner with superior communication skills and a commitment to quality customer service that is second to none. You are a diplomatic and solution-oriented problem solver who is capable of helping program participants make the most of their experiences. You have superior organization and time management skills that help you to juggle competing priorities and customer needs. Your entrepreneurial spirit and ability to think outside of the box will allow you to develop new ideas and strategic plans to enhance your region and the organization as a whole. You take pride and ownership over your region and are motivated to reach annual performance targets in new hires, training, sales and customer service. Adherence to State Department regulations remains your top priority as you ensure that your region remains 100% compliant. You are cost conscious and you look for ways to be fiscally responsible while ensuring excellent customer service. You have a minimum of 5 years of management and team leadership experience, good technical skills, a solid knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, CRMs, use of the Internet and social media applications.
