I am very happy to have the opportunity to introduce myself to you. I fully understand how
challenging it can be to choose the right person to whom you entrust your entire world. I truly
believe that my experience and approach will show why I could be the right fit for your home.
My name is Natálie, I am 20 years old. I consider myself a young, energetic, responsible, and very
patient person. I have recently successfully completed secondary school (Bráfova Academy, with a
focus on Economics). Although my studies helped me develop strong organizational skills, they were
not my lifelong dream. Therefore, I decided to take a gap year before university, which I would like
to fully dedicate to working with children abroad.
Regarding my experience, I have been caring for children from a very young age. I grew up in a
large household with three siblings (two of them younger), and from the age of seven I was actively
involved in taking care of them. From the age of 13, I regularly attended parish weekend events
and summer camps as a participant, where I also helped look after younger children. At 15, I
became a camp leader, and together with other leaders, I was responsible for preparing the
program for the children. This role included everything from planning activities (active games, calm
activities, and educational programs) to helping with meal preparation and ensuring safety so that
everything ran smoothly. I held this position for five years.
At the age of 17, I started regular babysitting for one family in my hometown, where I stayed for
three years. I am truly grateful for this experience, as it taught me deeper patience and
understanding in everyday childcare and allowed me to build strong, trusting relationships with
the children. In addition, I occasionally babysat for other families, which helped me gain diverse
experience with children of different ages and needs.
My approach to children is individual and always based on close cooperation with parents. I strive
to respect and follow their parenting principles and values. My key educational goal is to help
children develop strong character traits such as honesty, politeness, respect for others, and selfrespect. I also teach children how to set healthy boundaries and say no when necessary.
I actively support the development of children’s skills and help broaden their horizons — from
sports and creative activities to discovering new interests. I never force children into activities;
instead, with patience and understanding, I gently encourage them to explore what helps them
grow and develop their potential. I am inspired by Montessori pedagogy, especially its emphasis on
independence and self-confidence.
My relationship with children is based on natural authority combined with a friendly approach.
Thanks to my age and personality, I am able to connect with children easily, understand their
needs, and I am often perceived as an older friend. This helps me build trust and communicate
naturally, while still maintaining a professional balance as a responsible adult who provides
guidance and safety. I have further developed my childcare skills through a two-year animator
training program.
Finally, a little more about me personally. I am someone who enjoys working with people and
constantly learning new things. My hobbies include reading, music, creative activities, various
trips, a healthy lifestyle, photography, and almost any kind of sport. I also love animals, so if you
have any furry family members, it would be a wonderful bonus for me. And I really enjoy traveling
and discovering new places and cultures. I would love to be part of the family’s trips and
adventures. I am very flexible and comfortable with frequent or longer periods of traveling, and I
can easily adapt to new environments while ensuring children feel safe, supported, and
comfortable. And as I enjoy helping others and have strong organizational skills, I am also happy
to assist with household tasks or anything else you may need.
