Au Pair Services Coordinator

Synopsis

If you’re a proven recruiter with excellent customer-service skills who appreciates the art of building relationships by listening and relating to customers’ needs while thriving in a work-from-home environment, then this role may be for you. As an Au Pair Services Coordinator, you must have a genuinely warm and polite demeanor, a positive outlook, be professional, articulate in your speech, and efficient in your actions. This is a fast-paced, work-from-home, detail-oriented opportunity with all aspects of the position being managed virtually. You must be able to handle several tasks at once and be independently motivated while collaborating with co-workers within multiple departments.

The Role

The Au Pair Services Coordinator is an essential part of GreatAuPair’s excellent customer service team. The Au Pair Services Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for prospective au-pair candidates and is, therefore, the most important outward-facing representation of GreatAuPair. The Au Pair Services Coordinator is responsible for daily phone, Skype, and email communication with current and potential au pairs, as well as Sending Agents. The position requires detailed screening of au pair applications and outreach efforts to possible candidates to increase overall recruitment. Your goal will be to help au pairs quickly complete their application with ease and confidence. You will also directly interface with GreatAuPair Sending Agents all over the world. The Au Pair Services Coordinator and GreatAuPair Sending Agents will combine efforts to generate interest in the program, attract highly qualified candidates, and contribute knowledge and support to the overall GreatAuPair USA operation.

You are a smart professional who is capable of helping au pairs understand the value and benefits of the au pair program. You have superior organization and time management skills that help you to juggle competing priorities and customer needs. Your entrepreneurial spirit creates a “can-do” attitude and your ability to think outside of the box will allow you to bring forward new ideas to enhance your department. You have a minimum of 4 years of similar experience, a willingness to engage with Sending Agents, a solid knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google applications, database systems, Internet, and social media tools.

Compensation

Competive compensation package. Position will be contract to permanent after successful three-month trial.

Requirements

The successful candidate will possess the following qualities, assets, skills and experience

 

This is a full-time, remote position with benefits for the right professional

Must be able to work some evenings and weekends.

4-year degree or equivalent

Previous experience working in the J-1 industry preferable

Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task

Excellent verbal and written skills

Must be professional, friendly, and courteous

Proven ability to take initiative and work independently

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, prior CRM experience, and working knowledge of remote workplace tools

Strong preference for second/third language skills - a definite plus

Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Au Pair Services Coordinator has the following duties and responsibilities

 

Respond to prospective au pair inquiries and assist with the application process by working directly with au pairs and Sending Agents in assigned countries

Review incoming au pair applications for completion and ensure document accuracy by working directly with au pairs and Sending Agents

Review each candidate and assess their profile for admission into the program

Conduct video interviews with au pair applicants prior to acceptance into the program

Accept and reject candidates based on GreatAuPair defined criteria

Provide support and guidance to au pairs during the application, screening, and matching process

Develop relationships with au pairs to help educate them about the program and answer questions pre-arrival

Assist the Au Pair Services Manager in building out the au pair candidate pool

Ensure compliance with Department of State regulations

Manage Au Pair Services Support email account

Assist the Regional Management team with in-country au pairs

Work collaboratively with Host Family Services Team for matching purposes

Provide placement and matching support as needed

Management of International Sending Agents

GreatAuPair Au Pair Academy administration
