Dear Family,
I am Sara and I am eighteen years old.
I just finished high school and I will study Medicine from October. I love literature, science, photography. I love learning languages: I know three languages (Italian, Greek and English). I took a level B2 in both Greek and English, while Italian is my mother language. I also love travelling: I lived for a month in Ireland and for a year in Greece, Crete (Herakleion, I know very good the city and I also have some friends there). I enjoy studying anatomy and reading scientifical essays about chemistry, biotech and medicine (neurology is my favourite field). I also love staying with children, my mother is a teacher so I learnt a lot from her; I used to took care of some of my cousins when they were little: I would be enthustiastic to help a child with homeworks, support her\him, tell her\him bedtime stories, make her\him play games that might help the child to learn something new and be curious about the world. My philosophy is that to raise a well-rounded kid, we should try focusing on activities that promote useful skills and good habits while limiting passive entertainment. So let's encourage kids to draw, write, read, act, play sports and outdoor activities, play board games! I used to act in a theater company when I was twelve years old, and this made me extroverted, confident with myself. I am also a serious person: I think that family rules help children understand what behaviors are okay and not okay. Following rules at home can help children learn to follow rules in other places. I am not severe, but I was educated to respect other people's opinion, live and help whenever we are able to and be honest. I adore going for long walks and listening to good music (classical music is essential to me). I am also able to take care of pets: I have a cat, but my grandparents also had two dogs once so I am well experienced in taking care of animals.
