Hello!
I’m Mayrose but you can call me May or Rose. I’m 32 years old and currently living in Cebu, Philippines. I studied Bachelor of Arts in English major in (Literature) in one of the universities here in my city and earned my degree in 2011.
What I enjoy most about doing classes to foreign students is that I like to learn things about them and for them to learn things from me as well especially both our cultures. I can be both a teacher and a friend to my students without losing each other's respect.
I have been an online English teacher since 2012 up until now. I have worked in a Japanese company for more than 5 years and 5 years now as a private tutor to Korean and Vietnamese nationalities. I can confidently handle students from different levels, I’ve had experiences in handling toddlers, intermediate and advanced students. I also have an immeasurable patience to my students especially to beginners. Through the years of working as an online teacher, I have developed ways on how to build rapport to my students and encourage them more to keep on learning English.
