Since 2014, I've been employed as an English as a Second Language (ESL) tutor. My journey commenced as a General English Tutor, engaging in diverse class formats, including one-on-one sessions and group classes centered around movies, music, and sitcoms. Possessing TESOL certification, my progression led me to join the company's Business English research team. I also took charge of training new tutors. Given the Philippines' abundance of English educators, in 2018, I felt confident enough to pursue my own ESL career. Establishing a small business, I supervised over 20 online ESL teachers. I independently developed teaching materials and conducted training sessions for my educators. I aimed to provide part-time employment opportunities to college students, assisting them in achieving self-sufficiency. However, with the onset of the pandemic, I encountered challenges and opted to operate independently, seeking direct clientele in Taiwan. I've been successfully teaching both children and adults ever since.
