My name is Tim; I am 17 years old and currently in the final stage of secondary school, preparing for my German high school diploma (the *Abitur*). For quite some time, I have known that I want to go abroad as an au pair after finishing school. I want not only to experience a new culture and language firsthand in everyday life but also to grow personally and take on responsibility.
Why am I looking forward to this time with you? I simply love working with children. Over the past few years, I have regularly taken on childcare-related tasks at my school, such as supervising after-school clubs or the school library. I have also done quite a bit of babysitting. Through these experiences, I’ve realized how much I enjoy supporting children and being part of their daily lives.
I believe I would be a great fit for your family because I am an open-minded, positive, and outgoing person. I approach new people and situations with confidence and ease. I am also used to rolling up my sleeves, reliably handling household chores, and keeping a cool head when things get a bit hectic.
