Dear Family,

Thank you for taking the time to read my profile.

I have recently relocated to the Lucerne area to be with my fiancé and am looking for an au pair position where I can become part of family life while continuing my journey into education.

For the past 14 years, I have worked in snowsports as an instructor, coach, trainer and examiner, teaching children and adults of all ages and abilities. I have been Head Coach of several ski teams, including the Royal Air Force, worked with the GB Paralympic ski team, and founded and ran my own ski school in the French Alps.

The part of my work I have always valued most is helping children build confidence, overcome challenges and enjoy learning. I am used to creating safe, positive environments, communicating closely with families and adapting to the needs of each child.

I recently completed a postgraduate teaching qualification in Physical Education and Health. My long-term goal is to work in education across different age groups, and I am particularly interested in gaining more experience with younger children whilst continuing my own studies, potentially through a Master’s degree.

I am now learning German and am keen to become part of the local community. I would be happy to support a family in whatever way is most helpful, caring for children, tutoring, helping organise family life, running errands, or caring for pets and larger animals, including horses.

I am very adaptable, organised and dependable, with a good sense of humour (often needed). I love being outdoors and believe children thrive when they feel safe, listened to and encouraged to explore the world around them.
