Dear Family,
Hello! I’m Faith, a 25 years old, single, with no children aspiring Filipina Au Pair. I am currently looking for a Host Family that offers an open door to a starter like me. I aim to flourish good relationships with foreign countries and meet new wonderful people ahead of my journey by connecting and exchanging cultures.
About my Educational Attainment, I only completed two years of my Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English course because I transferred to another course which is the Bachelor of Fine Arts Major in Fashion Design. However, after studying for 1 year and 3 months in Fine Arts I was not able to continue my studies, so I started to look for career growth in every work opportunity. My experiences include being a Customer Service Representative, Pharmacy Assistant, and Part-time Worker in a Boutique and Apparel Shop when the time I was studying Fine Arts.
I come from a very simple family of 5: My parents, Jaime and Mercidita, my father is an upholsterer and my mother is a seamstress, and are self-employed and run a small business in our house. I have 2 older sisters, Joy and Joan. My sister Joy is now married to her husband Jimboy and they have a son named Matthew who is 4 years old. Also, we’ve got 2 dogs named Koki and Crinkles, and 2 cats named One and Four.
Currently, what I’m doing at home is helping my mother in our small business, handling the household chores to make our house tidy and clean, and also preparing food for my family. At the same time, I am also taking care of my nephew when he goes to school since his mother and father are working during the day. Since Matthew was born, I have been helping to take care of him even when I was studying or working. I usually prepare his food, feed him, wash his uniform, look after him at school, and play with him during free hours. I also enjoy being part of the Outreach Program where we would go to different places, reach out to children, teach and share stories with them, provide fun activities, play games, and share food for our snacks.
In about two or three years I plan to continue my studies and pursue greater heights. So, at the moment, I would like to take some time to have a different life experience and allow myself to grow in the process, and I think spending time abroad would be particularly interesting. Also, to describe my interests, which I would love to share with your family. I love arts, especially painting, doing crafts, and anything related to arts. I also have intermediate knowledge of sewing, so if you have some damaged clothes that you still wanted to wear, then I think I can help you with that. I also love to cook and try new recipes and let my family and friends try them, and I also enjoy listening to music and visiting new places for new memories.
With all that I am, I would be happy to have the opportunity to help you as my future Host Family and make things easier for you to take care of your kids and in doing the household chores. I believe I am capable of becoming a good Au Pair for your family because I am a responsible, reliable, patient, respectful, and family-oriented person.
