My name is Tayah Reina, I am 20 years of age and currently living in Hawaii, U.S.A. A little bit about myself... I am a huge music lover I sing, play piano & guitar. I am also very adventurous I love the outdoors and trying new things/meeting new people. I grew up in a big family in a small town in Utah. I am one of 7 children, I am the middle child but I grew up the oldest in my household. I have 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

I would say my strongest character traits are compassion, loyalty and ambition. Of the 3 of these I think the thing that really sets me apart from other people is my compassion. I love very deeply and it is very important to me that the people around me know that I am always there to support them. If you were to ask someone else what sets me apart from other people they would tell you my drive/ambition. I am very adventurous determined to create a life that I love for myself. I have started multiple businesses, traveled a lot of an a very goal oriented person.

I grew up in a family of seven, three of which are younger than me. When I was a younger I was homeschooled and spent at a few hours a day helping my mom care for the younger kids. Throughout my teen and adult years I have >200 hours experience in babysitting ages 2-14 between friends, family and referrals. I have 2 years of reading/english tutoring for a 4th grade age child, 1 year nursery work with children at my local church and 2 weeks of volunteer teaching experience for ages 6-14 in Ecuador.

My motivation to be an Au Pair is because I believe that experiencing and learning about different cultures is how you truly grow as a person. Putting yourself around people who think differently then you and have had a completely different lifestyle is an excellent way to learn and grow and it is something that is very important to me. This is my primary goal in becoming an Au Pair, to experience and learn from other people and cultures. In addition to that, I love love love spending time with kids and I cannot think of a better job to have.
