Good Day!
I am Mariel, 23 years old, single, and from the Philippines. I’m a graduate of. Bachelor in Secondary Education with a major in English. I am currently a Teacher-Tutor here in the Philippines. We’re sixth in the family, and I am the youngest daughter. I have two sisters and one brother. My father died last year October 2022 due to cardiovascular disease, and my mother is a housewife.
I would describe myself as a smiley and bubbly person. Loves children, mature, responsible, can deal with kids and have extra patience with kids. I can take care of children independent. Flexible in work and have a positive attitude. I like spending time with children because the sound of a child laughing when you play with them or share time together is amazing. You can get down to their level and be childlike. Gives you hugs and kisses.
I used to take care of my infant and toddler cousins when their parents are not around. All my childcare experiences were taught to me by my loving mother. I used to help my mother during the weekends with household chores and operations and became independent at an early age. I am good at housework like washing dishes, cooking different meals, cleaning the house, dusting, laundry and many other housework because my parents trained me when I was young to do housework well. If I become the Au Pair of your house, you won’t have a problem with me because I don’t need to be called to work. You can count on me for various tasks.
During my experience as an Teacher, I have gained expertise in various aspects of child care. Organizing age-appropriate activities, assistance with homework, facilitating healthy social interactions, ensuring their safety and well-being while engaging them in educational and recreational activities. As a volunteer, I planned and implemented after-school programs for groups of children, helping them with homework, teaching new skills, and fostering a positive environment for learning and personal growth.
As an experienced childcare provider, I am eager to become not just an AU Pair for your family but also a member of your family, fostering a positive and enriching environment. As a responsible, hardworking, reliable, and compassionate individual, I pride myself on my ability to adjust to a new environment and integrate Into a diverse range of families. my patience and enthusiasm have urged me to become an aspiring AU Pair. Additionally, my adaptability ensures that I can quickly adjust to different childcare situations, including adapting to individual family routines and preferences. I am fluent in speaking English but also have a keen interest in learning other languages.
