Introduction
I am seeking a learning support assistant / shadow role and would love to work with a primary school-aged child who needs support in the classroom.
I am currently studying for a diploma as a teaching assistant (including Special Education Needs, ADHD, Autism and Dyslexia).
I previously worked as a shadow to an 11-year-old boy with ADHD and dyslexia to support him during school lessons, primarily English and Maths.
I was also an English tutor in a primary school for two years, working with small groups of children to help them improve their English language skills as well as reading and writing skills.
In addition to that, I have worked as a nanny and as an English as a Foreign language teacher, both for several years.
I am a caring and patient person who enjoys working with children and helping them to do the best they can. I am positive, motivating and always smiling!
