Dear host family,
I am already very excited about getting to know you. But, first of all, I would like to introduce myself to you.
My name is Heba. I am 28 years old and from a small town called Oakville, just out side the big city Toronto, Ontario in Canada. I am living in a house that is located near a big lake in an area full of nature. We have a one cat (Smokey).
I would describe myself as a reliable and caring person, who tries to make the best out of every situation. I like spending time with my friends and family – very important to me. Always trying to help, I’m always there for them if they need me.
In my free time, I like to listen to music, go for runs, hot yoga, enjoy reading a good book.
For the past ten years, I took care of children of all ages from different families. I became very close to them and I cherish the time I have spent with them. When my brother was younger, I also took care of him, when our mum was working. Through this time, I have found out how much fun it is to have children around, I can’t imagine a life without them.
The reason why I want to become an au pair is that I want to get to know new people and a way of life as well as different cultures. Most importantly, it would be a great chance for me to travel and see the world.
I hope we can develop a good relationship, working and living together as a family. I would be very happy to experience an eventful year with you and your kids. I am looking forward to talking to you.
I am a fire sign (Sagittarius) I am full of energy and fun. I absolutely love meeting new people and being out of my comfort zone. I am a talkative person,. I am not afraid of the unknown as it gives me excitement and adventure. I am a very thoughtful and kind person who has faith and loves to travel.
I am properly the most diverse person you'll ever meet who dip and dapped in different careers and industries.
I have a bachelors degree in Social work from York University.
I am have a dental assistant diploma from a private institution.
I have a medical terminology certificate.
I am a gem and watch repair certified GIA from the Gemological Institute of America.
I also was a Jr hair stylist at a salon and I just renewed my CPR certificate.
And at the moment I am taking one course at a time online for human resource at the McMaster University.
I was recently (last year) an au pair in Monaco and France teaching Arabic. I was also previously an au pair in Egypt traveling around helping the mother. And San Francisco USA as a family assistant.
I speak English and Arabic fluently.
My expectations from this experience is to be welcomed as part of the family and honesty with me goes along away. I would like to be a big sister and treated with respect.
