Live-In Family Assistant / Housekeeper Position – Berlin, Germany

We are a warm and welcoming family with two young children looking for a long-term live-in family assistant to become an important part of our household.

This role combines household management, cooking, childcare, and general family support. We are looking for someone who is proactive, organized, trustworthy, and enjoys helping a busy family home run smoothly.

Main responsibilities include:

* General housekeeping and maintaining a clean and organized home
* Laundry, ironing, and household organization
* Preparing healthy family meals and cooking on a daily basis
* Grocery shopping and household errands when required
* School and activity drop-offs and pick-ups
* Childcare before and after school
* Supporting the children’s daily routines and activities
* Walking our friendly dogs
* Receiving deliveries and supervising tradespeople or contractors
* Assisting with the overall organization of the household

Occasional responsibilities include:

* Overnight childcare when parents are traveling for work
* Accompanying the family on vacations
* Providing additional support during particularly busy periods

Requirements:

* A valid driver’s license and legal permission to drive in Germany (essential)
* Previous experience in childcare and household management
* Strong cooking skills and enjoyment of preparing meals
* Comfortable around dogs
* Excellent organizational skills
* Discretion, reliability, and a positive attitude
* Good English skills; German is a plus

Flexibility is extremely important for this position. While a regular schedule will be provided, we are looking for someone who is willing to adapt when family needs change, travel is involved, or additional support is occasionally required.
