My name is Yolanda, I am 30 years old and I am from Mozambique. I am a warm, responsible and caring person who genuinely enjoys being around children. I am looking for an opportunity to support a family by providing safe, attentive and loving care for their children.

I have more than 8 years of practical experience looking after children in my family and community. I have cared for children at different stages, from newborns and babies to toddlers and school-age children. Through this experience, I have learned that every child has their own personality, needs and way of communicating, and I always try to be patient and attentive to those differences.

I am comfortable helping with everyday childcare such as feeding, changing nappies, bathing, dressing, preparing simple meals, playing, reading stories, keeping children entertained and helping with homework. I also enjoy creative and educational activities that allow children to learn while having fun.

I believe being a good babysitter is not only about keeping children occupied. It is about making them feel safe, listened to and cared for. I am calm and patient, but I also understand the importance of boundaries and following the parents' rules. I would always respect your routines, instructions and parenting style.

I would also be happy to help with reasonable child-related tasks, such as preparing children's meals, tidying their rooms and toys, organising their clothes and cleaning up after activities.

I currently live in Mozambique and hold a valid Mozambican passport. I am open to international opportunities and relocation. I understand that families may have different requirements, and I am willing to complete the necessary checks, training or certifications required for the position.
