Hello, dear family!

My name is Yolanda, I am 30 years old and I am from Mozambique. I am a kind, responsible and hardworking person looking for a nanny or nanny/housekeeper position with a warm and respectful family.

I have more than 5 years of practical experience caring for children in my family and community, from newborns and toddlers to school-age children. I have helped with everyday routines such as feeding, bathing, changing nappies, dressing, preparing simple meals, playing, reading, homework and keeping children safe and happy. I have also tutored young children in mathematics.

In Mozambique, childcare is usually learned through family and community experience, and we do not have the same formal childcare certification system found in some countries. For this reason, I do not hold a professional childcare certificate, but my experience comes from real, hands-on childcare over many years. I am always happy to learn and follow the parents' routines and preferences.

I speak fluent Portuguese and English and basic Spanish. I enjoy reading, stories, movies, music and spending time with children through simple activities that encourage learning and creativity.

I am also comfortable helping around the home, especially with tasks related to the children: preparing meals, laundry, ironing, tidying bedrooms and play areas, organising clothes and keeping the kitchen and children's spaces clean and organised.
