My name is Bernice, I am 24 years old and I come from Cameroon. I am a Bachelor of Nursing Science graduate and a registered nurse with the Cameroon Nurses Association. I am excited about the opportunity to support a family as a babysitter and provide safe, caring, and reliable childcare.

I have always enjoyed being around children and helping them feel safe, valued, and encouraged. My nursing background has given me important skills in child care, including patience, responsibility, hygiene, safety awareness, and understanding children’s needs at different stages of development. I know that every child is unique, and I believe in creating a caring environment where children can learn, play, and express themselves.

I have experience supporting children and families through my healthcare training, and I have also helped care for my cousin’s baby since birth. I assisted with daily routines such as feeding support, diaper changes, hygiene, soothing, and providing general care. This experience has helped me become comfortable and confident in caring for young children.

I can help with children’s daily routines, preparing simple meals, reading, educational activities, playtime, homework support, and maintaining a safe and organized environment. I am also happy to support parents by being dependable, respectful, and someone they can trust with their children.

I am bilingual in English and French, and I enjoy sharing my culture while learning from others. I am a kind, patient, adaptable, and hardworking person. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, football, music, arts, and exploring new places.

I believe I would make a great babysitter because I combine healthcare knowledge with genuine care, patience, and a love for helping children grow and feel supported.
