Hello dear Host Family,

My name is Ellery, and I am a licensed professional teacher from the Philippines with a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education major in English. I currently work as a general teacher and also teach ESL online, supporting learners of different ages and cultural backgrounds. Teaching and caring for children have always been at the heart of what I do, and becoming an au pair is a meaningful way for me to share my skills while learning from your culture and family life.

I have several years of experience working with children in classroom and early childhood settings. I design engaging learning activities, support language development, and create a positive, respectful environment where children feel safe, confident, and encouraged to grow. I am patient, responsible, and attentive to each child’s needs. I also enjoy helping with homework, reading stories, creative activities, and daily routines.

As a person, I am warm, adaptable, and family-oriented. Living and working in different environments has helped me become independent, organized, and respectful of different cultures and traditions. I value open communication and always do my best to be supportive, trustworthy, and dependable in everything I do.
