Buenos dias and welcome to my page. I am 27 years old working on getting my dual citizenship in Guatemala, where my family is from. I speak Spanish proficiently and a small amount of American Sign Language. I have two well behaved cats, Belly Button and Tygro who will be joining me on my adventures. I enjoy staying active during my free time, such as riding a bike, walking, hiking, and swimming. I come from a household of seven and have learned how to care for my younger siblings, as the second eldest, including a special needs brother.
I am well rounded with household tasks and time management.

A quick snapshot of my professional background includes working as a certified teachers assistant for five years. I worked with a range of children from preschool to fifth grade. Four of those years I worked with special needs children, mostly Autistic children. As much as I loved that job and my students, I felt I longed adventure, and that is when I thought, if I could find a job that is both childcare and traveling that'd be great! Long story short, that is how I stumbled upon this website.

My last adventure as an Au Pair was in Alaska. Working with the Alaskan family, was eye opening and I experienced nature quite different than I'd known. There are many wonderful memories I carry with me as I truly enjoyed my time as that families Au Pair.

I would love to help out a family while still fulfilling my wanderlust. I am tech savvy for any e-learning or zoom meetings your children may have. I can multitask and follow schedules, I have a clean driving record, and clean background. I would ideally like somewhere internationally, but within the U.S is great as well.
