I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and recently completed a Diploma in Community Healthcare and Support (Level 7) in New Zealand. My educational background has given me a strong understanding of child development, communication, emotional wellbeing, and the importance of creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment. I also worked as a Psychological First Aider, where I supported individuals with compassion, empathy, and patience—qualities I believe are essential when caring for children.
Although I have not worked as a full-time au pair before, I have experience caring for children within my family and community. I genuinely enjoy spending time with kids—playing games, reading books, doing arts and crafts, helping with homework, and encouraging learning through fun and creative activities. I love seeing children grow in confidence, discover new things, and express their unique personalities.
I would describe myself as kind, responsible, organized, and easy to get along with. I am patient, dependable, and always willing to lend a helping hand. I understand the importance of maintaining routines, preparing simple meals and snacks, keeping children's spaces tidy, and ensuring they feel safe, happy, and cared for. My healthcare and customer service experience has also taught me to stay calm under pressure, communicate effectively, and adapt to different situations.
