Introduction
My experience as an au pair in Canada has further strengthened my ability to work with children of different ages, understand their individual needs, and create a safe, encouraging, and supportive environment for them to grow and learn. I believe that learning should not only be productive but also enjoyable, and I strive to adapt my approach to each child's personality and learning style.
Throughout my education, I developed strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. I served on my high school's student council for over three years, including two years as Vice President and representative of my school. I was also a member of Luxembourg's national student office for over two years, where I represented students from schools across the country in meetings with government ministers and contributed to discussions aimed at improving education.
I am highly motivated and committed to personal growth. I received the Certificate of Merit for six out of seven years and hold the Duke of Edinburgh's Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awards. Completing the Gold Award required dedication, perseverance, and approximately 300 hours of activities across sports, hobbies, and volunteering, as well as several multi-day expeditions in nature. These experiences taught me resilience, responsibility, independence, and the importance of setting and achieving goals.
Additionally, I co-founded "LetzGuess," a digital educational game about Luxembourg and Europe, as part of a Europe-wide school business competition. Our company won gold at the national finals and was awarded third place among small businesses across Europe. This experience further developed my creativity, teamwork, problem-solving abilities, and entrepreneurial spirit.
With my combination of tutoring experience, childcare experience, leadership skills, and creativity, I am dedicated to making learning a positive and rewarding experience for every child I work with.
