In my few years of teaching, I have loved to use the learn-understand and practice methods of teaching. This method is practical and works in most subjects including theoretical ones. I also believe that learning occurs when a student has created a mental environment that allows it to take place. This is usually my first objective. I help the student create a learning environment that begins with their attitude and what they hope to achieve from their learning. This brings in them a sense of internal motivation that will drive their desires either to better or to excel.
