Position: Housework and Gardening Assistant

Location: San Diego, California

Duration: Minimum 6 months

About Us:
We are a small family of two residing in San Diego, California. Both of us work full-time and are seeking assistance with household chores and outdoor maintenance on our 1.5-acre property. In addition to providing an immersive English learning experience, we offer lodging, meals, weekends off, and a monthly compensation of $325.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Housework:
Perform general cleaning tasks inside the house, including dusting, vacuuming, and tidying up.
Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothes and linens.
Clean windows to maintain a sparkling and clear view.
Mop floors and keep them clean and free of debris.
Assist with food preparation and juicing.
Perform deep cleaning tasks periodically.
Sweep and maintain cleanliness throughout the house.
Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in bathrooms.
Outdoor Maintenance:
Engage in organic gardening activities, including planting, watering, and nurturing plants.
Assist with weeding to maintain a tidy and well-maintained garden.
Participate in maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the outdoor spaces.
Help with any other assigned outdoor tasks related to property maintenance.

WORKING HOURS AND CONDITIONS
Work approximately 6-7 hours per day, either indoors or outdoors.
Enjoy weekends off to relax and explore the surrounding area.
Apart from weekends, three additional days off per month will be granted.
Half of the travel expenses incurred after your arrival can be compensated under specific conditions.

Requirements:

Genuine interest in improving English language skills.
Strong work ethic and ability to take initiative.
Prior experience in housekeeping and/or gardening is preferred but not mandatory.
Physical stamina to carry out tasks requiring moderate physical exertion.
Respect for privacy and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Valid travel documents and necessary permits to work in the United States.
