I am looking for a caregiver - housekeeper for my parents. Father 82 and mother 66 years old. Father in good health, very conscious, minful and active. Mother, with health problems but conscious, and a bit less active due to the helath problems she faces.
Parents live in the house with a backyard in the suburb of Karlovac city, Croatia, Europe. Karlovac is family-friendly city, peaceful and secure, with not a lot of trafic, very clean, with many parks and 4 beautiful clean rivers.
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, trustworthy, warm hearted person that loves people, animals and nature, loves working on land, with animals and in the house, and is willing to really give them help they need. Job is centered in two directions. One direction is during spring and summer time in Croatia, mostly working around the house (April to October) that includes housekeeping including cooking, mostly preparing breakfast and dinner, in beetween flower gardening, washing cars, vegetables gardening, maintaining orchard, and also small poultry farm in the house back yard, taking care of pets, feeding all animals – pets and chikens at the moment, mowing the grass regulary, washing backyard, collecting vegetables from the garden and similar. Second direction is during autumn and winter time in Croatia, mostly working in the house (November – March) that includes all work mentioned above but mostly focused on inside housekeeping without vegetables gardening, maintaining orchard, mowing the grass and similar. While parents are out of the house, you should take care of the house that all is in order and to take care of animals and house as well. Also, sometimes parents travel and sometime they will need you to come along, we look for a person to be flexible for Live In option when needed.
We need to be sure to find a person that we can count on, a person that will give them enough patience, for them to feel good and secure, to cook for them and follow instructions for food recipies, to help them with their daily duties, shoping or similar, and in general to clean and wash, to keep the inside and outside house in order. You have to be fluent in English and perferably that you are experienced in taking care of eldery people, or disabled, or similar. Preferable experience is either as s staff in rehabilitation centers or hospitals with handling with older, sick or immobile but living at a country village to be familiar and have some know-how in gardening and domestic animals like chickens. We expect from you to be ready to follow our education, advice and instructions regarding the job descibed.
We offer a fixed payment of 700 EUR/MONTH/NET for a Full Time Live In and Live Out Caregiver - Housekeeper, with possibile up-grade due to the quality provided. We cover other expenses such as accomodation, food and allowance. Live In will be necessary while parents are away from home, or in case of a trip when they will be needing you; and Live Out would be option mostly when they are in house.
