We are seeking a compassionate and experienced live-in caregiver for our 60-year-old mother who has been diagnosed with early-mid stage Alzheimer’s disease. The position is located in our family home in Lexington, Massachusetts.

Our mother is a wonderful woman who enjoys reading, gardening, yoga, listening to music. As her disease progresses, we’re looking for someone who can provide her with the care, respect, and companionship she deserves.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Providing companionship and mental stimulation

Preparing nutritious meals

Encouraging daily physical exercises like going on walks with her, going to yoga

Administering medication under the guidance of healthcare professionals

Ensuring the home environment is safe and comfortable

Assisting with light household duties

Accompanying her to appointments as needed

We are offering a competitive salary package along with room and board in our family home as well as use of a car. Our family is committed to providing our caregiver with time off for rest and self-care.
