Job description

Responsibilities:
- Provide care and support to individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Implement behavior management techniques to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
- Ensure the rights and dignity of residents are respected and upheld
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Drive residents to appointments or activities as needed

Requirements:
- Previous experience in caregiving,, or related field preferred
- Knowledge of autism and developmental disabilities is a plus
- Ability to handle challenging behaviors and implement behavior management strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screening
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed
