I am a Certified Caregiver with professional home-based care experience and a lifelong commitment to helping others. I am currently studying and working with MediSkills Academy under Nurse Alison, who is my main recruiter for caregiving jobs. I have successfully cared for more than 6 patients under her guidance.
I am skilled in elderly care, dementia support, cerebral palsy care, wound management, PEG feeding, stoma care, and palliative care. My training includes First Aid & CPR, and I am experienced in both day and night shift care.
My caregiving duties include personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding assistance, mobility support, transfers, positioning), clinical care (vital signs monitoring, medication reminders, wound care, dressing changes, infection control), and specialized care (dementia care, Alzheimer's care, companionship, emotional support, behavioral management).
I also handle medical procedures such as breast examination, catheter care, stoma care, colostomy bag care, PEG feeding, bed bath, and oral hygiene. My palliative care experience includes end-of-life care, comfort care, pain management support, and hospice support.
I am experienced with documentation (daily care logs, medication charts, incident reports, progress notes, family communication), nutritional support (meal preparation for diabetic, soft, pureed and specialized diets, hydration monitoring, PEG tube feeding), and night shift monitoring (sleep care, repositioning, incontinence management, pressure sore prevention).
I conduct home safety assessments, fall prevention, emergency response, and exercise and rehabilitation support. I am available immediately, have no criminal record, and am in excellent health.
