Consider me as your elderly assistant also for my gentle, and calm nature, and for my general fitness and martial training - while I'm around, you and your loved ones will be safe! I'm also strong enough to lift people under 200 lbs, and trained in basic first aid.
I have many fun stories and talents to entertain the elderly, including singing, dancing, chess and other board games. I also run Dungeons and Dragons and other forms of storytelling :)
I have no formal training, but I have ample experience including:
- I alone took care of my ailing mother all my childhood.
- I took care of my grandparents during their final two years of life.
- I also took care of my autistic husband for ten years.
- I help friends' parents with chores, companionship, and entertainment here and then.
- I took care of my little sister and brother in law for two years, when they were teenagers.
I just lost my husband, and am looking to get on my feet doing something I believe in. Taking care of and helping people feel happy and seen is my calling in life, so why not continue doing so?
