Hello, dear future patron!

My name is Minna, your very own Mary Poppins, and I am ever at your service!
My nature has been described as patient, kind, gentle and calm. I'm a lifelong caretaker, and have walked a lifepath that – I believe – makes me a uniquely fun, safe and excellent candidate for any long-term caretaker position. Some of the highlights are:

I'm an award-winning martial artist who will keep your loved ones safe, I'm in great physical shape, strong enough to easily bridal carry people under 180 lbs up or down a flight of stairs, and trained in first aid, mandatory reporting, and fire response. I am a trained swordswoman, as well - and children love to learn how to swing (toy) swords with me!
I am adventurous, playful, cheerful, polite, and have many fun stories and talents to entertain children and the elderly - including chess, Dungeons and Dragons and other forms of storytelling :)

As for my experience:

- I took care of my ailing mother all my childhood. It was just the two of us.
My duties included housekeeping, cooking, feeding and bathing her.

- I took care of my grandparents during their final two years of life. My duties included managing appointments and medications, driving, grocery shopping, housekeeping and companionship. I especially enjoyed reading for them and dancing with them.

- I took care of my autistic husband for ten years. My duties included housekeeping, helping him socialize and exercise when he refused to leave the house - and watching over his mental health (autists tend to have a hard time introspecting, and they easily spiral into anxiety and depression – of which he had both).

- I help friends' parents with chores both light and not, companionship, games, and exercise - like dancing! Lately, I helped a couple rehaul a storage shed.

- I took care of my little sister and brother in law for two years, when they were teenagers. My duties included food prep, emotional regulation and homework assistance.

- I often sit and watch over my friends' children (ages 7 to 18), specially when we go camping or to the beach - since I have many outdoors skills to entertain, safeguard and educate children with.


Dear patron,
I just lost my husband, and became homeless. Good friends are being gracious enough to host me, and I'm looking to get on my feet doing something I believe in.
Taking care of people and helping people feel happy and seen is my calling in life. I hope my calling takes care of me in return, through you :)
