I am a 42-year-old male caregiver from Nigeria, currently studying Diploma in Community Health and Nursing in Nairobi, Kenya. I am a mature, calm, respectful and very responsible caregiver.
My Experience:
I have 5+ years experience caring for children (0-12 years) in my extended family and community, and 2+ years helping care for elderly relatives. I help with daily activities, companionship, and home management.
Tasks I can do:
- Childcare: feeding, bathing, homework, school runs, cooking healthy meals
- Senior Care: companionship, helping with mobility, personal hygiene support, conversation and mental stimulation
- Medical support: Administer medication on time, check blood pressure, first aid, CPR (trained in nursing school), maintaining hygiene and safety
- House tasks: shopping, running errands, paying bills, light cleaning, laundry, cooking
My Qualifications:
- Business Education (BSc)
- Maths/Physics (NCE certificate)
- Nursing Student (Diploma in Community Health & Nursing) — trained in First Aid, Infection Control, Patient Care
- Knowledge of elderly care, child care, medication administration
- Non-smoker, non-drinker, honest, patient and very clean
- Good English, willing to learn new language, willing for long-term (1-3 years)
I am not looking for an Au Pair cultural exchange, but for a serious long-term position as a Live-in Nanny and Senior Caregiver where my age and nursing training are an advantage.
