As a Kennel Attendant my responsibility are:

• Responsible for clean, disinfect and maintain kennels, cages, runs and stalls as often as is necessary to ensure no cages or kennels are soiled and odors are not apparent. Perform general cleaning in other areas of the hospital and hotel and park to control the spread of disease.
• Feeding and providing water for the animals, including providing special diets as needed. Wash and sterilize water and food bowls.
• Discharge and admit animals at the request.
• Provide care for animals housed/visiting the hospital. Report signs of illness, disease, injury, or unusual activity to Veterinary Doctor on duty.
• Accountable for keeping the animals fed and restocking supplies, removing litter and leftover food, collecting, and getting rid of fecal matter, disinfecting the area and replacing the cleared materials.
• Responsible for monitoring and documenting pets on board
behavior.
• Provides additional services including grooming walking and feeding. Keeps pet kennel areas clean and certain pets separated from one another depending on breed and demeanor.
• Responsible for booking system, customer’s inquiry, and providing available and occupied space. Responsible for administrative works.
• Prepare invoice reports, reconcile, and manage costs to budget.
