My name is Simona, I am 27 years old and originally from San Andrés, Colombia, now living on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica with my family, my pets, and just a few meters from the sea. Growing up surrounded by nature and animals has given me a deep sense of responsibility, patience, and love for all living beings.

I am passionate about working with children and animals. Since I was a teenager, I have taken care of children in my community, volunteered in schools, and later worked professionally as an educator. At the same time, I have always shared my home and daily life with pets—dogs, cats, and even rescued animals. For me, pets are part of the family and deserve as much love, structure, and care as children.

My childcare experience includes working with children ages 2–14, focusing on independence, creativity, and emotional development. I have taught languages, music (flute, piano), crafts, sports, and cooking, always adapting to the child’s needs. I am certified in basic First Aid and CPR (2024), which allows me to handle emergencies calmly.

Regarding pet care, I am confident with feeding, walking, grooming, playing, and giving medication if needed. I know how important consistency and affection are for animals. Families who know me say that I bond quickly with pets, making them feel safe, loved, and part of the daily routine.

I am fluent in Spanish (native), English (C1), and currently at level B1 in German, with plans to continue learning. I would love to live abroad to strengthen my German and broaden my international experience while contributing positively to your household.

Because of my age and professional experience, I am applying as a Nanny and Pet Carer. I am open to live-in arrangements, as long as I have a small personal space. I am flexible, reliable, and truly excited about the idea of combining childcare and pet care in one role.
