Hello! I'm Lucie, a 26-year-old Swiss citizen currently living in Zürich. I grew up in Geneva, Switzerland, and I have a strong interest in linguistics and different cultures. I currently speak three languages: French (native), English (around C1), and German (strong B1).

I have worked as an au pair in the past, and what I found most fulfilling was being actively involved in the learning process of children. I really enjoy finding ways to support their development in a way that feels natural and fun for them, especially in a one-on-one setting.

I tend to integrate children into daily activities like preparing snacks, and I rely quite a lot on structured routines to make the day predictable and easier for them to follow.

One method I like to use is a visual schedule: I create a table with images representing the different tasks and activities of the day, arranged in chronological order. This allows the child to understand what is coming next without needing constant verbal reminders. It reduces friction, encourages independence, and gives them a sense of control over their day. At the end of the day, they can collect the completed activities, which often helps them share their day more easily with their parents.

I also enjoy supporting children academically. I have experience tutoring children, including younger children (around 4 years old), sometimes on the autism spectrum, and even adults preparing for language proficiency exams. Overall, I’ve found teaching to be a very positive and rewarding experience.

-Driver's license: Although I do not currently have a driver’s license, I am committed to obtaining one and would greatly appreciate support from an employer in reaching this goal.
-Personality: Enthusiasm for learning. “Can-do” attitude. I am very service-oriented. I try to make myself as discreet as possible. I've been told I am quite the pleasant and smiling person.
-SALARY : I am open to negotiate a lower salary for the first couple months, as long as there is the possibility to renegotiate it down the line, as I will take on more responsibility and widen my skillset.
