I am a Buddhist woman from Colombo, Sri Lanka. I completed my O/L and A/L exams in 2018. My educational journey continued at NSBM Green University in Homagama(Sri lanka), where I earned a BSc in Multimedia with Second Class Upper Honors.
Family Background
My mother works as an accountant, and my father, now retired and dealing with some health issues, previously worked as an Aircraft Store Officer with Emirates in Dubai.
Professional Experience
I began my professional journey as an assistant teacher at Sussex Preschool from January 2019 to December 2019 after completing two teaching diplomas at Sussex Teacher Training College and the International Teacher Training Academy.
Post-graduation, I ventured into entrepreneurship by starting my own online business on eBay and Shopify, where I learned and honed skills in AI tools, marketing, design tools, and crypto trading fundamentals. I have worked as a freelance designer on platforms like Fiverr and Upwork, building a proven portfolio with various Sri Lankan and international companies.
Personal Challenges and Growth
After marrying an aircraft technician from Ratmalana Airport, I explored online crypto trading but unfortunately lost a significant amount of money in January 2023. This period was challenging as my husband left me, and I faced substantial financial difficulties.
To rebuild my life, I worked in various roles including cleaner, kitchen helper, personal assistant, digital marketer, graphic designer, caregiver, and nanny from January 2023 to the present. Despite these challenges, I remain positive, adaptable, and committed to my vision of succeeding as an entrepreneur one day.
Personal Attributes
I am a spiritual, understanding person who loves pets and values cleanliness both inside and out. I am a good listener and pride myself on being a compassionate and supportive individual.
