OK are you looking PA that will changer your life?! that will have your self asking where has she been all my life?! look no further was I am her! My name is Carlotta I am 25 years old, born in England with Italian parents making me bilingual in Italian, I pride myself that i come from an Italian family. I am currently living in Italy as a privater nanny, I am a qualified nursery teacher, I have worked with children for 3 years now and I love every minute of it. I am looking for am change in work something a bit more challenging... My work experience allowed me to help families by looking after their children during the day as well as arrange appointments for families to come and visit. This also meant that I could teach children how to count, read and support them when needed. I also helped the children to learn how to speak english, further helped by being fluent in both Italian and English, as some came from other countries. After being able to have the opportunity to work with children, I wanted to do more in helping improve the quality of life of not just children but adults too. I consider myself a punctual, hardworking and friendly individual and I am constantly looking for ways to improve myself and gain the skills needed to further my career. Working as an administrator/PA, my duties were answering in a profession manner, connecting the clients through to the right person or taking messages and making sure it got to the right person, If possible i would help provide the information that they needed. I greeted every client by there name or last name how ever they preferred, I made sure they were comfortable and looked after there every need. Another duty of mine was responding to emails and organising meetings for my boss, filling in reports, double checking every paper work and reports before I issued them to our clients, making sure they met deadlines. I provided an environment where my boss would feel less stressed and calm, allowing me to help him take weight off his shoulders with work and personal life. I conceder my self my self a very organised person within work and out of work from arranging flight tickets, hotel reservation, birthday planing etc. In 2018 I decided to study and get my qualification in Children and young peoples workforce; I worked while studying this gave me the opportunity to learn more about children and how they develop. During my time working as a nursery practitioner I was in charge of toddlers ranging from the ages of 2 and a half to 3 and a half. My role there allowed me to observe the children and make informed decisions about their motor and functional skills. This was achieved through activities such as colouring in, playing with building blocks and checking to see if they were holding cutlery correctly during lunchtime as they would be encouraged to eat by themselves. If the children were being potty trained at home I would enforce this during nursery hours and make sure they kept the same schedule, for example, if they need to be taken every 30mins then I would maintain that routine. It was mandatory to change the children three times a day and we would have set hours for this as well as changing more often if nappies became full. Story time was an important part of the day where I would ask the children to sit down and read a story together. This is a great way to help with their concentration, learn to listen and sit still. At home time I would give each parent feedback about their child’s day along with any other important information they may need or answer any questions they may have. After teaching for a year and 5 months I wanted to dedicate my all to one family, working as a live-in private nanny allowed me to have a more direct and focused experience by looking after Nathan. I would always start my day before Nathan woke up so I had time to get ready by myself and be prepared for when Alice would leave to go to work. Once awake, Nathan would be bathed, dressed and then we would head to the kitchen to have breakfast. His day to day routine would consist of daily walks, playing with Play-Doh, painting and anything else that interested him. After a morning of fun activities I would prepare his lunch followed by putting him down for his nap time. During Nathan’s afternoon sleep I would tidy the house, put any clothes, games or toys away and finish off with hoovering. In the evenings I would prepare the dinner table and sometimes make the dinner for the family myself too.
