About me: I am a creative person and I love nature, but I also love city life! I eat healthy and do a lot of sports (hiking, running, rock climbing, etc). I am American with a French work permit, currently traveling in Asia after having just sold our home in France. It is a transition period for us: nobody was happy with where we were living in France due to it being socially isolated and a farmer culture - which is lovely and something we value, but does not align with our dynamic personalities and interests! My intention is to return to a different area of France (Montpellier) or spend some time in the USA (East Coast areas from north to south!) - both options appeal to my children and me.

In France for the past 9 years (and before that The Netherlands for 9 years), I have lived in Provence and the Aveyron departments. Now, I’ve just spent some months traveling in Thailand, Turkey and The Netherlands.

I am interested in a live-out position, or one which offers an independent accommodation. I am a mom of four children who will attend school in our new location. They are 15, 7, 5 & 2.5. Their dad has just moved to Thailand but the rest of us want to stay in France or USA for school.

I am professionally trained with a lot to offer. I have been driving for 25+ years, including the last 15 years in France - and I can drive in the USA, however, I need to get a French driving license before I continue driving in France. I will begin tackling my French driving license first thing if we settle there.

My experience: i have a comprehensive CV available, please ask me. Most recently, I managed a glamping with nature holidays on the Aubrac Plateau (5 years). During this time, I was also homeschooling some of my children. I have managed a restaurant, worked in high-end fashion, and founded an award-winning cake company. I am a trained breathwork therapist and yoga teacher. I have produced medium-sized events (mostly concerts with around 300 people), compilation and editing of a quarterly newsletter among other journalistic projects. My professional training is in fundraising for philanthropic organizations. My level of French is A2/B1. I have a VLS-TS work permit. My French is not good enough to be a good example for your children with the language, so I would prefer to work for a family who wants their children to learn good English - however, for basic needs we can communicate in French. I am continuing to learn!
