Hi. My name is Gabriela. I am a college student in Ohio (USA) and wish to to explore other countries for the summer. I would like to use my experience as a way to meet a nice family or individual and participate with daily activities or personal care/personal assistance and hopefully have a chance to experience another culture, language, and country. I am 41 years old. I also have experience with elder care. I have studied opera for a while and understand a little Italian. I speak Spanish and English and enjoy learning about other cultures. I grew up in the suburbs of northeast Ohio and was privileged to travel to Canada, parts of the US, and Mexico. I also have been to Jamaica where I was enamored with the beautiful nature of Fern Gully. I have attended Cleveland State University, Baldwin Wallace University, and had the pleasure of being an intern for Dr. Joe Fagan at Case Western Reserve University. Suffice it to say, I love academia and I really enjoy other cultures, which is why I am now studying to earn my bachelor's degree in cultural anthropology.
