Working Hours:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: Each day, housekeeper will work 10 hours with a 3-hour break in the middle.
- Saturday and Sunday: Each day involves 9 hours of work
- Wednesdays off
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and caring Nanny/Housekeeper to join us relocating to the UK.
You should be able to combine responsibilities of childcare and housekeeping. Providing a nurturing environment for children aged 7 to 11 when they are around, and maintaining a clean, organized home.
The children will be at school during the week and your main focus will be on the housekeeping during these times.
Housekeeping Duties Include:
- Regular cleaning of all areas of the home including dusting, vacuuming, and mopping. - Laundry and ironing of family clothing.
- Changing bed linens and maintaining bathroom cleanliness.
- Kitchen maintenance, including dishwashing and organizing.
- Assisting in meal preparation and cooking.
- Managing household supplies and grocery shopping.
- Handling household errands as required.
- Planning and maintaining a daily/weekly/monthly cleaning schedule
- Able to independently manage workload
Nanny Responsibilities:
- Supervising and caring for children between ages 7 and 11 when not in school - Planning and leading educational and recreational activities.
- Assisting with homework and school projects.
- Preparing nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
- Managing children's schedules and transporting them to activities.
- Ensuring children’s safety and well-being.
- Providing guidance on children's behaviour and social development.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a nanny or in a similar role with verifiable references. - Skills in housekeeping with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong understanding of child development in different age stages.
- Ability to prepare basic meals and perform light housekeeping duties.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- First aid and CPR certification preferred.
- A valid driver’s license may be required.
