An experienced Nanny is required to assist a professional couple with their two children (B/5 & B/2,5) and are based in Geneva (Florissant).

The elder child has started Reception year in Primary School in September 2022, while his younger sibling will be starting nursery school at the end of August 2023. The nanny will be responsible for getting both the boys ready for school in the morning, and both children out of school hours/days, and during school holidays.

The family is looking for someone caring, engaged and diligent who has a warm and friendly disposition.

Someone resourceful who thrives on creating fun and stimulating activities for the little ones at home or outdoors with the resources at hand. A genuine love of the outdoors and being active would be ideal.

Supporting learning and curiosity is important to the parents, fluency in English is essential, and a broad understanding of either the EYFS, or International school early years framework, or Montessori or other early years education framework, is highly desired.

The family home in Geneva includes the support of one housekeeper/cook, and they are looking for someone who will fit seamlessly into this team, and who will be happy to share responsibilities with their colleagues.

Kindly note this role does not involve general housework but will include ‘nursery duties’ related to the children, including cleaning and tidying their rooms and playroom, occasionally cooking and baking for the little one and some responsibility for the children’s laundry.

Full care of the 2 year old during the day until he starts nursery, and both children out of
school hours and holidays. The 2 yo will not have nursery on Wednesdays.

Creating fun activities, including being active in organising playdates.

Generally helping with development and education of the children.

Taking the child to/from kindergarten/school and to various activities and classes

Responsibil ity for the child’s laundry and spaces including bedrooms and playroom.

Keeping a diary and/or notify parents of school activities, medical appointments,
developmental changes when needed.

Start date: As soon as the suitable candidate is found.

Duration: Permanent (subject to a three month probation period).

Salary: Market rate depending on experience.

Locations: Primary: Geneva ( and Gstaad. Holidays: London and Oxfordshire, UK and
Southern Europe ( Italy, France). Accordingly, to the family’s needs the candidate will
be asked to accompany the family when they travel. (Usually during the schoo l holidays.)

Accommodation: In Geneva ‘Live in’ at paid for accommodation within 5 mile radius from the
family home will be provided, this may be shared accommodation in a multi bedroom
apartment. When travelling accommodation will also be provided.
