Job Description
1. Daily Childcare & Supervision
Accompany children to/from school daily.
Liaise with school administration, teachers, and principals to monitor academic, behavioral, and social development.
Provide feedback to parents on study progress, strengths, and areas for improvement.
Maintain daily routines (study, meals, rest, bedtime).
2. Educational Support
Assist with homework, assignments, and projects.
Motivate and encourage positive study habits.
Identify learning difficulties and provide extra support.
3. Parental Role & Personal Development
Serve as a mentor and parental figure, offering guidance and emotional support.
Teach etiquette, manners, and social protocols (communication, respect, dining, posture, etc.).
Instill responsibility, discipline, and positive values.
4. Travel & Mobility
Travel with children domestically and abroad (Europe, Switzerland, etc.).
Ensure safety, comfort, and coordination during trips.
Must hold a valid driving license and drive as needed.
5. Activity Planning & Hobbies
Design and manage summer travel and activity programs.
Organize extracurriculars:
Mateen (11 yrs): Horse-riding memberships, scheduling, and practice.
Makeen (13 yrs): Encourage book reading, purchase materials, and discuss key lessons.
Ensure productive, fun, and educational engagement.
6. Health, Safety & Well-Being
Ensure safety at home, school, and while traveling.
Monitor health and report concerns promptly.
Support good nutrition, hygiene, and discipline.
7. Communication & Reporting
Provide regular reports to parents on academic, behavioral, and personal progress.
Share school feedback, activity updates, and travel details.
8. Special Requirement
If one child studies abroad (e.g., Switzerland), be able to visit regularly to maintain communication and support.
Qualifications & Requirements
Nationality: Priority for European passport holders; secondary preference for candidates from Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand.
Education: University graduate in childcare, education, psychology, or related fields.
Age: 40–45 years.
Experience: Minimum 10 years as Nanny, Governess, or Childcare Guardian.
Driving License: Valid for local and international driving.
Travel Flexibility: Willing to travel frequently within Iraq and internationally.
Lifestyle: Strictly non-smoker, non-drinker.
Personality: Patient, disciplined, trustworthy, nurturing, and firm in guiding children.
Skills:
Strong understanding of child psychology, education, and development.
Excellent English communication; additional languages preferred.
Ability to plan educational, social, and leisure activities independently.
Character: Professional, discreet, and highly ethical.
Working Conditions
Full-time, live-in or live-out (as agreed).
Flexible hours (including weekends/holidays if needed).
Accommodation, meals, and travel covered during trips.
