Hello - I am Phoebe!
I am 18 years old and have recently completed my A-Levels at Hurstpierpoint College, studying Politics, English Literature and Business. 
I am currently on a gap year before I take up my place in 2024 at the University of Exeter to study English Literature. In January, I set off for South East Asia for 5 months with two friends where we will be initially volunteering in a teaching role at a school in Sri Lanka and then travelling through Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Thailand. I am therefore looking for paid work between now and then, particularly in childcare.
I am confident, active and hard-working, and am keen to support parents in caring for children of any age. I have 5+ years experience in babysitting and latterly nannying children between ages 1 month and 8 years old in between full time education. I also have experience in working in hospitality jobs at pubs, restaurants and an events company and have had the chance to volunteer at many sporting opportunities locally.
I hold a full clean driving licence and am a British passport holder allowing me to work both in the UK and overseas. My other qualifications include St John's Ambulance Emergency First Aid award, a distinction in the Grade 8 Gold LAMDA Award (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) and Silver Duke of Edinburgh award. I have also gained 9 GCSE’s including 9’s in English Literature and Language and an 8 in Mathematics. Leading a team of prefects as Head Girl at my school, as well as Head of House and Head of Model UN, I have also had the opportunity to closely engage with parents and act as a role model for younger students from ages 4-18.
I have a wide variety of sporting and creative interests. I play hockey, netball, cricket and rugby as well as enjoying art, baking and cooking, reading, the outdoors and travelling.
