Dear Family,

My name is Chiara. I’m confident, practical, and genuinely enjoy spending time with children — keeping them safe, engaged, and supported, while also having fun together.

I have a lot of hands-on childcare experience, including traveling internationally alone with three children under the age of seven for a family holiday. That experience required organisation, patience, and the ability to stay calm and flexible while managing different needs at the same time. I also have younger siblings, so caring for children has always been part of my everyday life.

I’m naturally energetic and active, and I enjoy playing sports, being outdoors, and getting involved in games rather than supervising from the side-lines.

I hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, so I’m very comfortable helping with homework, maths, science, and tutoring. I like exploring things in a way that makes sense to each child, especially when they learn best by doing rather than sitting still.

Creativity is also a big part of how I connect with children. I enjoy drawing, art projects, building things, and imaginative play, and I try to encourage curiosity and independent thinking.

I’m comfortable caring for children with learning disabilities, including non-verbal and autistic children. I approach this work with patience, consistency, and an open mind. I don’t expect children to fit a mould — I adapt to them, focus on their strengths, and work with their individual way of communicating and interacting.

I’m reliable, calm when things get busy, and take responsibility seriously, but I also bring warmth and energy into the home. I’d love to talk more and see whether I’d be a good fit for your family.
