Dear lovely Host family,
My name is Sharifah 25 years old born and raised in Kampala the capital city of Uganda the Pearl of Africa. I finished my Secondary School education and I am fluent in English as it's our official language in Uganda and Luganda is my native Language. My dreams of traveling was to start after my University studies but unfortunately, I lost my father few months after graduating from High school and I dropped out of school since I couldn't afford the tuition.
My love for cultural diversity worldwide has pushed me to self_teach languages like Korean and French. I like movies, swimming, social networking and reading. Not forgetting traveling to new places Oooh My God!!!! My favorite one.
For the above reasons, I see Au pair as my secret formula for visualizing my dreams as reality. The new cultures I will meet, Origins of different accents, new faces and colours while still doing what I have always done best, taking care of children.
Being the last born of my family has naturally selected me as a perfect Nanny for my nephews and nieces. This is because by the time I finished my Secondary School education, my elder siblings had already given birth. This gives me a 5_plus experience in childcare for children aged 3 months to 8 years. These little angels are amazing.

In 2017, my brother recommended me to a Pre-school(Kindergarten and Daycare) as a co-teacher and a children's helper where;
. My easy-to-notice tender touch to children led me to be chosen in helping out the kids to dress up properly, feeding the babies, changing diapers and cleaning their belongs like bottles and the like.
. Tidying up the children's rooms, washing and ironing the children's clothes most especially for those in Daycare section and helping them out in keep personal hygiene like brushing their teeth, washing hands and the like.
. I used to play, sing and dance with the children during morning circles and break time.
. For those whom were picked up late, I was helping them to finish their home work and assignments.
. When they were so attached to me, I was again chosen to be part of the school van team so that the children may calmly feel free to leave their parents and go to school,etc.
. These are few of qualities that makes me best match for the family with children because I am good at cherishing, motivating and mostly loving them dearly. In addition, my culture natures a girl to help out in house chores as part of responsibility.

I am looking forward to a welcoming and sweet Host family who will teach me about their life and correct me when I am wrong and also make me feel like I am in my new home far away from home.
It's sad to say that after a given period, the program has to end but I will always cherish the memories I would have gone back home with. I will start up a Daycare and I offer to name it after the best kid I will meet.
If God wishes, I will also take a business course in order to sustainably manage and support my new Daycare.
