My name is Ecem, I’m 24 years old and I’m from Turkey. I have a deep love for children and a natural connection with them — that’s why becoming an au pair feels like more than just a job to me; it feels like a calling.

Since I was very young, I’ve always found myself surrounded by children. I have a 17-year-old younger sister whom I helped raise, and spending time with her from her early years has been one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. That’s when my love for childcare truly began. Over the years, I’ve supported many families in my community as a part-time babysitter — sometimes for a full day, sometimes just after school — and I truly enjoyed every moment of it.

In addition to my personal experience, I’ve also worked at kindergartens and private English courses, where I helped young children with both learning and daily routines. I was involved in group games, storytelling, creative activities, and basic English instruction. These experiences allowed me to grow not just in responsibility but in creativity and patience. I also volunteered in summer schools and children’s clubs during school breaks when I was younger (13 to 17 years old), which gave me a great sense of purpose and joy.

My educational background is focused on languages — I’ve worked as an online tutor in both English and Turkish, helping students of different ages. I have a strong command of English (C1 level), and I’m currently learning other languages in my free time because I love connecting with people from different cultures. I also enjoy music, dancing, playing volleyball, and traveling. I believe children bring out the most genuine joy in life — their view of the world is pure and inspiring, and being around them makes me feel hopeful about the future.

I would describe myself as a very warm, friendly, and responsible person. Families and children feel comfortable around me quickly because I’m open, understanding, and cheerful. I’m not afraid of hard work, and I’m always willing to help as long as my tasks are related to the children. I’m not interested in general housekeeping or deep cleaning, but I am more than happy to help with anything related to your kids — their meals, rooms, toys, or schoolwork.

My goal as an au pair is to become part of your family, not just as a helper but as a big sister and a positive role model for your children. I would love to share my culture, language, games, and smiles with them while also learning from yours. I believe this exchange will enrich both sides.

My passport is valid until February 2026, and if needed, I’m willing to renew it with your support to stay longer. I’m also happy to help your children with English practice, homework, or simply talking to them in a warm and respectful way every day.
