Dear future family, Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile. My name is Kinsy and I am 26 years old. I am originally Sri Lankan but was born in Switzerland, in a town called Neuchâtel, I spent most of my early childhood there. At the age of nine, my family (my parents and older sister) and I moved to a town called Aylesbury in England and spent the rest of my school years there. However, in 2015 I moved back to Switzerland with my parents (my sister stayed to finish her studies), which is where I currently live. I believe going au pair is a great opportunity to be fully immersed and organically experience what everyday life is like. I love spending my spare time learning new languages, drawing and listening to music. Passionate and fascinated by everything beautiful, cultural and healing, I would love to broaden my horizons as well as teach the little wisdom I have acquired in my short 26 years of life. Growing up in a South Asian family in Europe has taught me the importance of culture, mindset and communication. Being the second eldest of my family, I have been taught to look after my younger relatives. I would feed my cousind (7 and 3 at the time) breakfast, shower them, dress and take them to school with me. I have always felt comfortable around children and believe I can become a great older sister-like figure to yours. I am patient, flexible and open-minded, so feel free to let me know all the rules of the house, I will have no problem adjusting! I am prepared for the responsibility and the potential hardship of being an au pair and remaining calm in those moments is key. I trust my judgment and can overcome any obstacle with confidence. Childhood is a crucial phase in one's life. Being taught the right things is extremely important as it shapes your entire way of processing your surroundings. Something I feel very passionate about is self love and wellness. Being exposed to such topics at an early age will greatly help your children face the world with confidence, when the time comes. I believe that I will have a positive impact on the growth of your children and hope to become part of your family. I hope we get to meet soon!
