My name is Íria, I am 30 years old and I am from a city near Barcelona (Spain). I am a certified Primary and Childhood school teacher who speaks English, Spanish and Catalan, with passion for a holistic approach to education and extensive experience in the childcare field. I have worked in public and private schools as a Primary, English and Special Educational Needs Teacher and also as an Early Childhood Educator in a daycare with babies and toddlers ranging from 0 to 3 years. I have worked as well as a coordinator and monitor in summer camps and in a scout group for many years with children and teenagers of all ages.
On the other hand, I come with excellent references from agencies and families and have been working as a professional full time nanny, VIP travelling nanny, babysitter and private tutor for more than ten years, with experiences in Spain, Australia and international travelling. I am First Aid and CPR certified and a confident driver with clean driving record.
As you can see, teaching and education is my great vocation. Spend time with children makes me happy, as I believe it is very rewarding: I love watching them grow and thrive and being able to teach all that I know and, at the same time, learn from them. Experience has taught me how to build meaningful and wonderful relationships with children and their families, which I think it is essential. I am a confident, pro-active, fun, caring, hard-worker and responsible carer. I can offer maturity, a positive and energetic attitude, and a lot of enthusiasm. Easy going and highly organized, I can provide a high standard of care in all daily and developmental needs, encouraging all age-appropriate milestones to be met. I know how to adapt quickly in any situation and I try and bring positivity and light wherever I go.
