Hello!
My name is Amy and I'm 32 years old. I graduated from teaching college in Ireland in 2013 and since then I have been teaching in a variety of schools ranging from nursery school to secondary school (3-18). I specialised in Art and Design, however I am also proficient in teaching all areas of the curriculum! My goal when working with children is to make sure they are having fun in a safe and nurturing environment!
I moved to Barcelona in November 2015 and since then I have worked as a nanny to the same bpy for four years and also as an Art and Design teacher in a primary and secondary school. I am now looking to work as a nanny as I am currently focusing on my own freelance illustration business.
I would love the opportunity to work closely with children to aid them in the development of their English but also to allow them to work creatively!
I teach children through a variety of games and interesting activities. My teaching degree taught me the importance of allowing children to work in a very hands on manner to ensure that they are fully engaged. I am fun and bubbly and enjoy being able to make children happy in their own learning!
