LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION FOR SANDRA MPHO MOGARI
It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Mpho, who worked as our full-time
nanny and housekeeper from March 2024 to January 2025.
During this time, Mpho cared for our son, who was between the ages of two and three. Her responsibilities
included ensuring his safety, preparing his meals and lunchbox, changing nappies, dressing and bathing
him, walking him to and from school, and accompanying him to extra mural activities such as Clamber
Club. She also attended his occupational therapy sessions to learn and apply developmental techniques at
home. Mpho approached all of these tasks with dedication, warmth, and a deep sense of responsibility.
Our son formed a strong and trusting bond with Mpho—he absolutely adored her. She was not only a
caregiver but a true friend to him. Her calm and gentle nature, combined with a lovely sense of humour,
m a d e her a joyful presence in our home. Mpho is a person of high integrity and strong values, and I always
felt completely confident in her judgment and reliability.
Beyond childcare, Mpho managed all our household tasks with diligence. She cleaned, did laundry and
ironing, and kept our home neat, tidy, and well-organised. She took pride in her work and was always
punctual, dependable, and willing to help, including babysitting when needed. She also took initiative in
arranging playdates with other children and nannies in the neighbourhood, which enriched our son's social
e x p e r i e n c e s .
I also had the pleasure of meeting Mpho's husband and two children. She has a stable and supportive
family, which is reflected in her grounded and nurturing approach to her work. It was clear to us that she
draws strength from her home life, and this contributed to the sense of calm and consistency she brought
i n t o o u r s .
Sadly, in January 2025, Mpho suffered a serious injury after slipping in the rain and fracturing her ankle in
three places. This was a devastating moment for all of us, as we had to part ways with someone who had
become an integral part of our lives. Despite this setback, Mpho has shown remarkable resilience and
commitment to her recovery, attending physiotherapy and diligently doing her exercises.
Mpho is a rare gem-trustworthy, nurturing, hardworking, and deeply caring. I wholeheartedly recommend
her to any family seeking a nanny. She will bring warmth, stability, and excellence to any home lucky
enough to have her.
