My name is Daniela, but my friends and family call me Dan or Ela. I live in Tarlac City, a small town in Central Luzon, located in Philippines. I am 22 years old, and I completed a year of college coursework in both elementary education and tourism management. And I received my culinary specialty diploma from senior high school. I was once a swimmer in grade school and softball player in high school. I am the older of my two siblings, and I was raised to be independent.

I have two years of experience in the BPO/call center industry working as a customer care representative for both incoming and outgoing calls. I also have two years of experience managing social media and organizing trips.

My hobbies include playing hiking, travelling and swimming. I also love to sing. I love going to the beach and take a walk at parks (nature lover). I am trustworthy, organized, respectful, open-minded, responsible, kind, sweet and jolly person. Kids hold a special place in my heart; therefore, I enjoy playing and chatting with them as well as looking out for their safety and well-being. Additionally, I had the chance to help a relative part-time with the upbringing of two newborns, which deepened my love for children.

My strength as an au pair would be my ability to blend in and form strong bonds with children. This allows me to be their big sister and mentor in all facets of life, while still being able to learn from my mistakes. On the other hand, I would characterize my weakness as an Au pair because I find it difficult to let go of things or people, especially children, because I grow overly connected to them. I'm looking for a host family that is open to learning different languages and cultures, would be nice and friendly to me, and would be delighted to have me as part of their family. I hope to stay with my host family for a long time—a year or longer, depending on how well we get along.
